1950's everyday pinup

Good morning my red velvettes ,
Today we have a fun tutorial.Since halloween is around the corner I'm buzzing with ideas. We have planned some easy to do and super crazy tutorials for makeup and costumes that you'll find easily at home. Today we try and recreate 1950's inspired LOTD, which is pretty wearable look  I'd say!
Also I've shot in my night dress and it is kinda embarrassing but changing would ruin  my hair hence I decided against it hence the  shameless posing in my night dress.

Now the tutorial I've tried it to put it specifically step wise. Additionally I have shown how to contour my face but before we move on to that I’d take a minute as to what Halloween is and why do we celebrate. Well India doesn’t really but all my peeps I think we definitely must have a house party atleast!
Halloween basically a contraction of "All Hallows' Evening"), also known as All Hallows' Eve,[ is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows (or All Saints) and the day initiating the triduum of Hallowmas, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed believers.
Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (also known as "guising"), attending costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o'-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories, and watching horror films.
Moving on to the tutorial, the steps are to prime , add colours and blend blend blend :D I’ve used coastal scents palette for this look, the camouflage concealer palette for contouring and reshaping my face.
(Dotted my face with my BB cream from Kiehl’s in the medium shade)

(Prime my eyes using FACES mettaliglow)

EXPLICIT WARNING: The next picture might make you cringe for coming here but trust me the contour face is worth it :D. Also I've done my eyebrows extremely pointy and arched for this look.

For the hair we used a ½ inch barrel curling rod and pinned each curl before it cools down to the tip. Do not open the curl or they shall fall out. I have like baby fine hair and no volume so Sanky used Volume booster from Label M. And NOVA hairspray to hold my hair in place along with back combing. You can chose to curl you entire hair, but we decide against it as  we wanted an everyday look hence the pouf in front and curled the ends outward to achieve the look.

You cannot finish the look without a mole,I naturally have moles but not at the right places sadly! So we went ahead and made a fake one :D For the costume you can go anywhere from empire line midis to tough denim on denim looks. Don’t forget to tie the kerchief around your neck to complete your transition.
Girls do not be afraid to stand out, nobody is going to judge you and we are all in holiday spirit. I suggest you go all out and doll up the sexy nurse, the satan,a pirate or even our cliché Bollywood heroines. There’s an ocean of characters to be inspired from!

Also if you don't like to wear your hair open well just wear it

with a bow. Don’t believe me take a look at the pictures,it doesn't really look that bad how we imagined it!

In the end  it’s all about having fun, I’ll see you soon in my nest post with another tutorial :D fyi Halloween is celebrated on 31st October get you pumpkins carving.
Happy Holidays and Stay Chic,
XoXo
