Of Label and It's Austerities Ft.LAstinch

The questions I'm asked more than often.I decided to pour my heart into this blog post.Here is everything I could have answered honestly. The labels  I have been typecasted into, this outfit seems like the most subtle way to tear up from this 

-Growing up, how did you envision yourself when you're older?

I always thought I would have that flat stomach, frankly, I have wished too many birthday candles to miraculously to wake up to a flat stomach. You see I have always been the chubby kid that would be the first one to get into the pool to hide her thick thighs.

-How often do you look in the mirror? Do you like what you see?

As often as I pass by the when-I probe, poke wonder how much could plastic surgery change my face, body! Promised me to be a healthier self, do some jumping jacks and then roll on the bed thinking how much of chore that was.

-I understand that you faced your dislike for your chin during the shoot? How was your experience? 

I have always had issues with myself being photographed. Growing up being told that how much of a pretty face I had that people would just dismiss looking at my body I have probably centred my attention to my face too much and somewhere that still lives on, I'm way concerned about my double chin-my paunch, my muffin top, and the way the fat folds over my knees. There are literally all the points that I look at when I'm photographed. But here I'm today baring it all.

It's the Saree with the Twists

Time and again the saree has been reinvented. The 6 yards gives us just about as much freedom as we have wanted to drape it just as it was to gowns to skirts. My love affair with saree is a recent but a deep-rooted one. I really do go beyond of how beautiful it looks on the outside to rather how beautifully it would adhere to my body, how easy it is to wear and well who made it.

                  Saree before reaching to us touches much life altogether. Now just as a woman in today's time we have woes just not limited to our everyday wear. Add a good mix of being plus size and then treading the dangerous waters to find festive wear that is sophisticated, you are going to land yourself in quite a few woes.

So when I saw Lastinch doing a palazzo saree, it hit all the right nerves. Ask me what's not exciting about the saree-well just the name gives you a pretty clear image of how it is going to make saree wearing easy!

Bright and inventive color combinations are important this season, while the influence of street style impacts silhouette and style, a romantic mood is created via sweet vintage florals such as the classic rose which continues to bring a feminine dimension to the season. I have genuinely not felt the need to put much efforts in the styling department because of the complexity of the palazzo saree but also how simple it is to wear. You can genuinely take this saree from work to wee hours with a change of accessory.

Being a fashion professor this was all the Sushmita Sen feels sans the sexiness ofcourse, I could get to! I absolutely cannot emphasize how lovely it feels on your skin and legit need a single safety pin to hold it all together. Also peeing and not worrying about the pallu or the saree getting soiled is an option right now. All I did was wear an amazing pair of foiled block heels, a single statement bangle and my hair blowdried.

Sometimes beauty actually lies in simplicity :)

The Sorority Lives of 60's

I enjoy being a girl! And my wish would really be to live every day of the week in a new decade. I find the old musings, music , women, hardships they faced very endearing. If I could only time travels. Dressing up and having the liberty to write your own blog gives you that freedom, to say the least. Today my love for the bygone era continues-I flirt with the 60's reimagining what a sorority would I be in or what would I dress up as. Can we style the pieces today as we could wear them in the MODs?  I often question myself-Plus size fashion has evolved in recent years, leaving many fat fashion enthusiasts grateful but how did women shimmy back in the thigh-grazing straight fit dresses or Was it just a norm just for the straight sized women?

I'm wearing my last inch high neck dress with bell sleeves paired with a pastel mauve hue of stockings and T-straps oxford heels. My hair is pulled into a carefree updo bringing attention to my eyes-Played up with shades of blue family.Wearing NYX's Matte Lipcream in Amsterdam.

Lastly, I had like to Dedicate this song to my lovely ladies reading this.

I'm a girl, and by me that's only great!

Waisted

The 80's favorite trend from the wall street is having a moment again in 2017.The done and dusted trend is back for the season and I'm talking about pinstripes here. Combining it with a very unlikely trend (for me ) of high waisted relaxed fits pants can be quite a task when styling for my body type.

High waisted are absolutely no biggie for me considering the fact that I had to wear it almost all my adolescence to bunch up the belly fat since that is the only fit I managed to snag off any branded stores that I would want bad! There was also bootcut, which well I do love but when imposed and restricted to a particular way I can't seem but to refuse to understand the routine works.

The thin pinstripes, an all-new addition by Lastinch, beautifully bunch up at the waist. There’s nothing more dated about the way you’ll be pulling on pinstripe prints this season. I like taking it in a less-is-more mentality on this blogpost pairing the pattern with a nexus t-shirt from the casuals section of plus size wear from Lifestyle while adding my baby houndstooth t-straps heels 👠

I also added a double layered choker my Toniq that completed my hippie vibes. My hair is in a pigtail and this is my comfy outfit except I would swap my shoes for closed toe block heels that will help me last throughout the day.

Summer Mellow

Hello my beautiful melons,

It's been a while since Is poke to you guys.Personally, for me, I haven't seen a seismic change in fashion this year. The biggest trend of cold shoulder and off-shoulder still ensues on this year.

The shoulder has been fashion’s erogenous zone of 2016 but, more importantly, it is clearly making the cut to 2017 as well.The glee of a cold-shoulder dress/top works better for any setting! It gives you more of an audacious than it feels: the shoulders don’t vellicate & the focus remains on your face rather than your body. I guess which what I really aim for not that I have shied away from dressing up my bulges ever. Cold shoulders are not only flirty and fun, but they also keep you cool on a warm summer day, which makes them a wardrobe essential.  This trend is not chasing away and honestly, works with every body type, hence I suggest you make the most of it!

Here 's an absolute fun shoot I did for LastInch's latest summer collection launch. The dress 's print is a beautiful tie and dye technique. The love for combining modern pieces with Hollywood vintage inspired hair isn't going anywhere-anytime soon. Sanky has given me a hip yet very 60smod bouffant hair.I went sans any accessories and paired it with strappy pointy flats.
